Chapter 10 The World Of Magic - Part 2

Shiro’s eyes were literally sparking at the sight of the splendid things that were happening right in front of him.


He wanted to do all of those miraculous things.


For someone who had to constantly study science and think that magic was nonexistent, it was something like a boon!


The thrill couldn’t be expressed in just mere words and no matter what happened he wanted to go outside.


“Can I perform those things?”, he asked the woman.


She nodded her head but then again she said, “But you need to study all those things and master them again and again...”


“Huh? We have to study here too?”, Shiro made an awkward face when he heard that.


He didn’t want to do the same boring studies again here too. He just wanted to indulge himself in magic and learn more about it.


He wanted to discover the hidden mysteries about it and for doing all these things, he couldn’t wait even for a minute.


But then suddenly all his enthusiasm vanished. He became quiet and just lowered his gazes.


The woman also became quite and was just staring at him as he stood all by himself while looking towards the floor.


The window was right beside him but he didn’t bother to take a peek once again.


Tears started flowing down his eyes while his head was lowered.


“Are... are you alright!? Is something hurting you?”, the woman asked.


She seems quite worried. Even though Shiro was nothing more than a stranger to her, she failed to leave him alone.


“I’m fine... it’s just that... everything feels too real and I’m afraid to know the truth...”


Shiro seemed to be standing at the middle of Reality and dream. It was quite difficult for him right now.


Because if that very thing, he could neither enjoy nor feel remorse.


He was having a mixed feeling which was the worst of all.


That was why the woman decided to tell him everything. She walked a bit closer to him and was about to tell him about what had actually happened when suddenly the door opened.


“Eh?”, she immediately turned back only to find the same man, who was with her earlier while saving Shiro, entering the room.


“Ah, is he awake now...”, the man too expressed his genuine happiness after looking at Shiro.


But he had no intention of smiling right now as it would seem fake. That was because Shiro was actually crying right now and I’m such a condition it was best to just stay quiet instead of laughing or trying to make someone laugh.


The man stared at the woman and asked her to console him but she didn’t have any words to tell him right now.


All she thought was about discussing the truth with Shiro but for some reason her voice wasn’t coming out from her throat.


That was probably because she didn’t want Shiro to think something wrong or take some wrong step.


‘Ya, he isn’t ready yet tonhear that...’, was what she thought.


She decided to tell everything kne by one instead of dumping every information at the same time which was without a doubt a wise choice!


“Listen Shiro, actually your parents were killed by an organisation who is our enemy right now...”


“Enemy?”, Shiro was confused.


If the oraganisatikn was their enemy then it didn’t make any sense as to why they killed his parents.


In the first place he had no idea as to why they visited his house because he and his family didn’t have anything to do with this at all.


“Weird... we shouldn’t have been their target in the first place... then why?”, he was totally confused by this.


No matter what he wanted to fine rhe reasom but right now a simple reason wouldn’t possibly help him clear all the things that had been created.


“The thing is... it all started with you being chosen as the last mystic...”, the woman told.


“The last mystic?”, Shiro was shocked when he heard that:


He had a brief idea about what a mystic was as he had read it in the various books that had been placed in the book store but he actually thought that all of those things were nothing more than just random stories.


Little did he know that everything was true and those were kind of magic books which he had read.


All the knowledge about them had been already stored in his brains thanks to which he need not require to ask again and again about different and basic things.


“So you are telling me that I’m chosen as the 7th mystic!?”, Shiro asked after which she explained everything to him.


“So now you need to come with us and attend the magic high school where you will be given the knowledge about various magics...”, she said.


“Oh...?”, Shiro was a bit happy and a bit sad.


But the feeling of sadness about his parents death was hidden in his heart which he thought would be best to remain sealed for now.


“Yes, so you will come with us right?”, she asked.


“But since I don’t know any magic... they won’t allow me right?”, Shiro asked.


He knew that no matter whatever worlds it might be, every Place would some sort of entrance exam system so that they would get the best students!


“Haha, don’t worry about it, we will prepare you...”, she said.


“Ya, also you don’t have to worry about the admission... she is the...”, Glim was trying to say something but Arya sealed his mouth.


“Mhm?”, Glim was surprised for a moment.


She was none other than the same tier 3 magician who was with Glim earlier and the man who was standing beside her was the same 5 Tier magician who had disguised himself as the bookstore owner.


Basically Arya was the Vice-Principal of the so called magic high school and that was why she could just let him get an admission there.


But she didn’t want to reveal that right now as she wanted Shiro to work hard and not get admission just by some cheat!


Arya was basically trying to scold Glim on seeing which Shiro started laughing.


“Haha haha, you both are so funny!”, he was laughing while looking at Glim’s mouth which got wrapped with the chains.


“Hehe, you look cute when you laugh...”, Arya said.


Shiro kept on laughing and slowly paused after a while immediately after which Arya said, “Welcome to the World Of Magic, Shiro!”
