Koi baat nahi agar

Ishq meri qubool nahi tujhko

"You what Bhai? Like her? Or love her?" Saumya asked him making his eyes widen

"What? Have you lost your mind? Me and love her?" Rudra said like saumya cracked a joke but from inside he knows what he feels for her.

"Then why did it affect you if she is dating someone or not? She has a life and she will also live her life isn't it?" Saumya’s retort made Rudra shut his mouth. He has no answer to her question.

"Bhai you know I can read people at least the one whom I knew and loved. You're denying your feelings. Don't do anything that will ruin three lives." Saumya said

And it's like he remembered that he is getting married and another reason to shut his feelings.

"Exactly Saumya. Three lives. Mine is already ruined but I can't ruin Sikha's life. And about Durva she is a good person she will get what she deserves." Rudra said and left the place

He didn't talk with Saumya for 2 days. Neither did he go to meet Durva. He is sulking inside but his mind isn't ready to accept it.

"Bhai, tomorrow is your flight to Mumbai, isn't it? At least talk to me today." Saumya said as she came inside his room

"If you're going to talk about that shit again then I'm not interested" Rudra stated firmly.

"I didn't say anything about it. I'm here to talk with my brother but I guess in all this I have lost my brother as well. Here only Rudraksha Randhawa, the singer is standing not my Bhai" Saumya said and was about to leave but Rudra hold her hand

"Don't be angry Saumya. I'm sorry for behaving like an idiot. You know which thing it is that stays always together but yet they are not together?" Rudra asked her

"I don't know" Saumya replied after thinking

"River banks. They always stay together but can't be one. I and Durva are like that only. If I wasn't betrothed to Sikha I would have accepted it but how can I cheat her?" Rudra asked her

"That means you love Durva isn't it?" Saumya asked

"I do. You know I never thought that I would love a girl who isn't beautiful according to the so-called society. Who can't even talk? I always thought that beauty matters but this girl proved me wrong. She is selfless and possesses a heart of gold. Maybe our faith isn't sealed together. We are meant to be apart" Rudra said with a sad smile

"Wow, Bhai I never thought that my Bhai would be changed like this. I will not force you bhai but will ask for only one thing. Confess your feelings to her, your love and your problems. Sometimes only the satisfaction of being loved is enough for us." Saumya said

Rudra nodded. He decided to meet Durva for the last time and tell her his real feelings towards her. He went to meet her and sat with her.

"Durva I'm going tomorrow back to Mumbai." Rudra said

"I know it" Durva said with a smile that didn't reach her eyes

"I love you Durva" Rudra said out of the blue, making her still on her spot. She looked at him shocked and after some time she started to laugh that tears came from her eyes.

"Why are you joking? It's not a topic to joke about. I may be your friend but you can't crack a joke like this." Durva said wiping her tears

"I'm serious Durva. Maybe it's a joke for you but not for me. I love you but I can't be with you. As you know I'm going to be married. I can't hurt my fiancé. She has no knowledge about this. I just wanted to tell you what I feel for you." Rudra said and Durva looked at him with blank eyes

"If you have said that you will leave your fiancé because of me I would have never agreed to it. I love you as well but for my selfishness, I can't break the girl's heart who is waiting for you. Who has faith in you. I'm satisfied knowing that my feelings are not one-sided. Now go from here and never come back. Because I'm not that much strong that I can leave you for many times" Durva said with a sad smile.

Rudra again concluded that he has chosen the right girl to give his heart. He left without turning towards her as she said she isn't strong neither is he. Next day Rudra left for Mumbai with Saumya. His uncle and aunt will come later.

His body was in Mumbai but his heart was staying with Durva. Only one week was left at his wedding. He decided to confess everything to Sikha as well.

On the other side Sikha was on cloud nine she was counting days to get married to the man whom she loves. She got ready to meet him. He asked her to meet her in his own house, not to his parents 'house.

"Hi, how are you?" Sikha asked him

"Hello, I'm fine. How are you?" Rudra asked her

"I wasn't fine but now I after meeting you I'm more than fine" Sikha said smiling

"Sikha I need to tell you something. We are getting married and I think you need to know this" Rudra said and Sikha got serious

"What's it?" Sikha asked

"Sikha in Kullu I found someone and I fell for her and........" Rudra told her the whole story

Sikha got tears after hearing him. She never thought that Rudra will fell for someone else that too a dumb girl.

"Don't worry sikha I won't cancel this marriage. But I can't love you because I only love Durva. I will fulfil every duty of a husband. I'm feeling free now because I have wanted to tell you this for a long time. I don't want to start anything on the base of lies" Rudra said

"You really love her, don't you? Then why are you marrying me?" Sikha asked him

"Because I was already betrothed to you when I fell for her. I should not have been feeling like this but I did. It's our fault that we fell for each other, not yours then why should you suffer?" Rudra asked her

"Then I'm giving you freedom Rudra. Go back to her." Sikha said, making him a shock.
