I'm going to take a break from the telenovela that is Vida de Fea and talk about something else: an event no one could have presaged.

In our class, we have members of the LGBTQ+ community and they are sometimes treated with no respect whatsoever. This constantly irks me. The girls don't get a lot of trouble but the boys do.
