Baldwin Qi politely declined Clyde Qiao's invitation to stay the night and directly returned to Ninquen Estate.
The moment his car stopped, Baldwin Qi frowned, saying coldly, "Come out!"
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."
Several figures appeared around him, each emitting a cold aura, like fierce beasts.
"You seem to have a special relationship with Cheyenn Yu? Will you obediently surrender, or should we break your limbs and then take you away?" said a man with a chilling voice, who seemed extremely dangerous.
Hearing this name, Baldwin Qi felt annoyed and replied, "I have no relation with her. You'd best not provoke me."
"Hahaha! You're just a simple prison guard, and yet you dare to act arrogant before us! We are the Four Emperors under the Terror King!" The man laughed loudly and walked straight towards Baldwin Qi.
A large hand reached out, tearing through the air with a humming sound, aiming straight for Baldwin Qi's throat.
Shaking his head at the man's incompetence, Baldwin Qi thought that he could pick anyone from the prison, and they could easily beat this so-called 'Four Emperors'.
He deflected the attack, not even glancing at the astonishment on his attacker's face. With swift punches, four terrifying experts who had killed countless people fell to the ground like mere mortals.
"What a nuisance!" Baldwin Qi sighed, grabbed a leg and threw the body off the cliff.
Soon after, Cheyenn Yu arrived, following the scent of fresh blood in the air. She saw four unrecognizable bodies at the base of the cliff.
"These are the Four Emperors under Terror King's command! All four of them have been a headache for our military, and we haven't been able to capture them..."
Cheyenn Yu was utterly shocked after seeing the bodies.
She realized that the men were killed on the spot and their bodies were thrown into the wilderness. Her shock deepened.
"Who could kill these four with such ease? The blood is still warm, meaning they died just now, but I didn't detect any signs of a fight."
Cheyenn Yu's eyes were filled with concern. Whoever did this was probably much stronger than her.
She picked up her phone, gazing towards the top of Ninquen Estate, and instructed, "Find out who's staying at the Ninquen Heavenly Palace and send someone here to clean up the scene..."
Early the next morning, Baldwin Qi received a call from Clyde Qiao.
"Baldwin, your relationship with April is developing too fast. Love needs to be consolidated. She has made plans with a few friends to go to a sports club today. She wants to introduce them to you. Share your address, and I'll have her pick you up!" Clyde Qiao laughed heartily.
"Okay." Baldwin Qi replied with a resigned smile, not able to refuse Clyde Qiao's kindness, and agreed.
Soon after, Polly Li drove to pick up Baldwin Qi with April Qiao.
Upon seeing Baldwin Qi, Polly Li gave him a once-over. Disdainfully thinking, he's just a simple prison guard, not particularly handsome, though he has a good physique. But without power or influence, he's of no use. How can he be worthy of April Qiao, the pride of the Qiao family?
"My best friend, Polly Li. Get to know each other." April Qiao coldly introduced from the passenger seat.
Baldwin Qi extended his hand, smiling, "Nice to meet you!"
However, Polly Li didn't even spare him another glance and said, "Stop yapping, hurry up and get in the car. Egbert and the others are waiting for us!"
Polly Li drove quickly, and in no time, they arrived at a club named "Shany."
"Hahaha, April, Polly, you've finally arrived!" Several young men greeted them. The leader, with an impressive demeanour, was Egbert Zhang, the young master of the Zhang family and one of April's suitors.
Seeing another man emerge from the car, Egbert Zhang's eyes grew colder as he asked, "Who is this?"
"A toad who dreams of eating swan meat," Polly Li replied with a sarcastic smile, nodding towards Egbert Zhang.
A cold light flashed in Egbert Zhang's eyes as he sized up Baldwin Qi from head to toe. He was dressed plainly, with an average temperament and nothing exceptional about him.
Such a man dared to pursue April Qiao?!
April Qiao said calmly, "That's just how my best friend speaks, don't take it to heart."
Baldwin Qi glanced at her but chose not to respond.
"Hehe, since you're here, no matter your status or background, you're considered a friend. Let's entertain our guest," Egbert Zhang said indifferently, not taking Baldwin Qi seriously at all. To him, an average man like Baldwin Qi, who lacks any notable background, is like an ant.
Turning to April Qiao, Egbert Zhang smiled and said, "April, haven't you always wanted to learn fencing? I just won third place at the national fencing enthusiasts' convention the day before yesterday. I can teach you today."
"Oh, by the way, I'm working on getting that 20 million debt from the Black Dragon Chamber of Commerce for you. They'll probably respond in a few days."
"Don't worry. While the Black Dragon Chamber of Commerce is powerful and wealthy, they'll still respect me to some degree."
April Qiao nodded, a hint of joy flashing in her eyes, "Thank you, young master Zhang!"
After finding a spot inside the club, Egbert Zhang immediately invited another young gentleman who also enjoyed fencing to spar with him.
"Damn, who is that... Is that General Cheyenn Yu?!"
"Oh my god, it really looks like Cheyenn Yu. I didn't expect to see her here."
"Who is she doing archery with? Is that the president of the Black Dragon Chamber of Commerce, Gene Zhao?"

There, Cheyenn Yu, dressed in sportswear, looked stunning. She pulled her bow and shot arrows. Four consecutive arrows hit the target's centre.
Baldwin Qi felt like cursing. Was he fated to always run into this woman? Such bad luck!
He chuckled when he saw Gene Zhao. Wasn't that the "small loach" Gene Zhao?
Gene Zhao was arrogant when he was jailed, complaining about the poor quality of the food in the cafeteria. He had smashed it, and Baldwin Qi had him hung on a utility pole for a whole three days and nights.
Thus, the once mighty Mr. Zhao became the "small loach".
"I never imagined I'd get the chance to see Cheyenn Yu in person. She's Hua Country's rising female war goddess. If one could marry a woman like her..."
"Stop dreaming. The Yu family is an imperial noble family. General Cheyenn Yu is a heroine. Who can match such a goddess?"
However, everyone's attention soon returned to the fencing match. Egbert Zhang took up his sword, cleared his throat, and began duelling the young gentleman in front of him.
Egbert Zhang was indeed skilled, or he wouldn't have won third place. The young gentleman opposite him was not in the same league. In just a few exchanges, his sword was knocked away, and Egbert Zhang had the tip of his blade at his throat.
"Young master Zhang is truly amazing. In just five moves, he had already disarmed Childe Wu!" April Qiao's eyes sparkled.
With graceful and nimble moves, Egbert Zhang's elegant swordplay captured the hearts of many young ladies around.
Baldwin Qi frowned, preparing to leave. He didn't want to get involved with Cheyenn Yu again.
Though the four guys who came to his door yesterday were no big deal, he hated trouble.
