"How did you know there was a deficit within the Zhang Group and that this capital increase and share expansion was their preparation to abscond with the money?"
Polly Li stood in front of Baldwin Qi, blocking his way and asked.
Baldwin Qi replied expressionlessly, "I've already explained it once before. I don't want to explain it a second time. I think, you aren't deaf!"

Polly Li walked beside Baldwin Qi, her smile enchanting. Her legs, clad in black stockings, moved rhythmically. The sound of her high heels clacking against the ground was pleasing.
Baldwin Qi was surprised and slightly furrowed his brows.
Polly Li took the opportunity to get closer to him, smiling, "Mr. Qi, everything I've said is true. I believe you, why don't you believe me?"
Baldwin Qi replied coldly, "If they don't trust me, you should persuade them to divest. Otherwise, when Zhang Property really runs away with the money, there's nothing I can do."
Polly Li nodded, "I'll find an opportunity to discuss this with April, don't worry."
"Do you have time tomorrow? I'd like to invite you for tea." Polly Li changed the topic with a smile.

Baldwin Qi silently waved his hand, preparing to hail a cab.
Polly Li said, "Hey, I'm April's best friend. If you want to get on good terms with her, you need to pass through me first! With this attitude, do you think I'll speak in your favour?"
Baldwin Qi calmly replied, "I know she doesn't like me. Forced relationships are never sweet. Our marriage was arranged by our parents. I don't have inappropriate thoughts about her. I'll just quietly protect her until this relationship’s affinity has reached its end."
After saying that, Baldwin Qi flagged down a taxi and said to the driver, "Sir, to the Ninquen Estate, please."
Polly Li wanted to catch up with him to inquire about his activities at the Tiandi Hotel today, but upon hearing this, she was taken aback.
