Originally, Elijah had just tentatively proposed the idea, not holding much hope, because typically, no one would agree to give the medicine first and receive payment later, at least not without some deposit.
However, to his surprise, Han agreed readily.
"Sure, but you'll have to write me an IOU, stating the amount owed, and that it must be paid off within three days."
"Alright, I'll write the IOU now."
Elijah was overjoyed.
The IOU he wrote probably wouldn't be worth toilet paper...
