Feeling her intimidating presence, Lila Qin placed the coin-sword aside and crossed her chubby little arms in front of her, walking back and forth in front of the red-clothed ghost.
Her cute face was serious, and the red-clothed female ghost shivered in fear.
She couldn't understand why a child who was only a few years old could exude such a powerful aura; it defied all logic!
"Tell me, what's your relationship with my big brother? Why were you following him?" Lila Qin asked with seriousness.
The red-clothed female ghost blushed slightly and stammered, "I-I'm his girlfriend."
Lila Qin, "..."
She grabbed the coin sword again and held it a few centimeters away from the ghost's neck. "You're lying, and deceiving Master Qin will have dire consequences!"
The red-clothed female ghost's face turned deathly pale, and she hurriedly retreated, trying to avoid the coin sword.
Ordinary people might not notice, but spirits were well aware that this coin sword was an extremely powerful artifact. A single poke from it could cause her soul to shatter and disintegrate.
"Alright, alright, I'll tell the truth!"
The female ghost came to her senses and revealed the truth, "I've secretly liked Peter Qin for a long time. I even bought the same bracelet as him. I'm not really his girlfriend."
She introduced herself as Fiona Yang, a distant relative of the well-known Yang family. She had managed to infiltrate high society and, at a party, fell in love at first sight with Peter Qin. Since then, she had relentlessly pursued him, but all her efforts had been in vain.
Lila Qin glared at her angrily.
"If you really liked my big brother, why would you follow him and try to harm him? That's not real love!"
Fiona Yang hastily waved her hands.
"I-I didn't mean to harm him!" Fiona Yang explained.
According to her, she had died in a car accident and, for some unknown reason, had been following Peter Qin ever since, unable to move on in the afterlife.
"At first, I was very desperate, but later on, I was very happy," she said with an enamored expression. "Because no matter where Peter Qin goes, I can follow him. Isn't this like being married to him?"
A talisman flew over and stuck directly to Fiona Yang's arm.
"Ah!"
She screamed in agony, and when she looked at her arm, she saw it had turned black.
"I was wrong! I really know I was wrong! Master, what do you want to know?" she pleaded.
"Hmph!"
Lila Qin coldly snorted. After reciting an incantation, the talisman flew up and burned on its own.
"I don't want to know how you like my big brother," unlike her attitude towards Emily Gao, Lila Qin was now very cold and stern, displaying an unusual seriousness for her age. "Since you don't know why you've been following my big brother, then tell me everything about your first encounter with him."
Fiona Yang cooperated willingly.
Soon, Lila Qin noticed something suspicious. "You joined the 'Peter Qin Club'? What is that?"
Embarrassedly, Fiona Yang explained, "It's a club formed by women who like Peter Qin. We organize regular activities and share our pursuit experiences. We all have a bracelet, which was customized for us by the club president."
[Divine Calculation System: There is something wrong with the bracelet.]
Lila Qin questioned further, "What happened to the bracelet after you died?"
Fiona Yang, now a ghost, couldn't touch physical objects, so her bracelet was just a shadow and couldn't be touched.
Fiona Yang replied, "My mother loves me very much. She should have put it away and placed it in my room."
After shrinking the coin sword into a small necklace and hanging it around her neck, Lila Qin quietly left the room.
She headed towards the area where the servants lived and waited for the appearance of the driver, Ken Gao.
"Gao Uncle, can you give me a ride?" she asked as soon as he arrived.
Ken Gao, the driver of the Qin family and the father of Emily Gao, was reprimanded by Peter Qin earlier for his confused behavior during the day. When he returned to the Qin family, the butler had him suspended.
Although it was called a suspension, he was most likely going to be fired.
Despite this, he had no regrets, other than nearly exposing the young miss to danger. He didn't regret seeking revenge for his daughter.
Ken Gao replied, "I have a private car, so I don't need to report to the butler. But, Young Miss, it's not a good idea to go out so late, is it?"
"It's okay," she patted her chest confidently, "Lila is very powerful~"
"No, Young Miss, I appreciate your kindness, but I can't let you take any risks," he firmly refused.
Rolling her eyes, Lila Qin muttered quietly, "Well, you might as well not appreciate me then."
She thought for a moment and came up with an idea. "If you give me a ride, I'll make sure your wife also gets to see Emily. How about that?"
Ken Gao's eyes lit up, showing signs of wavering.
Lila Qin continued, "I'm really powerful. I can exorcise evil spirits and defeat ten strong men. I know kung fu!"
She raised her arms and showed off her nonexistent muscles.
Time waits for no one. When the driver hesitated, Lila Qin approached him and grabbed his large hand with her small, chubby hands.
"Little Miss, what are you going to do..."
Suddenly, everything spun around.
By the time Ken Gao realized what happened, he was lying on the ground, looking up at the starry sky, questioning his life choices.
"I... Why did I fall down? What just happened?" Ken Gao asked in confusion.
A chubby, round head appeared in his field of vision, with big, twinkling eyes and dimples on its chubby cheeks.
"How is it? Lila didn't lie to you, right? Lila is really super powerful~" Lila Qin boasted.
Ken Gao silently wiped his face, not saying anything, and obediently drove the private car.
An hour later, the car stopped at the outside of the affluent area.
Ken Gao hesitated, "Young Miss, we don't have permission to enter."
"It's okay~" Lila Qin extended her hand and whispered softly, then reached out to the side.
Ken Gao, "?"
Ken Gao, "!"
A hand gradually materialized in Lila Qin's palm, a young woman's hand with a familiar bracelet on her wrist.
Ken Gao's entire body was covered in goosebumps, and he trembled in fear.
"I... I have a ghost in my car?"
Lila Qin looked at him in surprise. "Actually, there are two. Emily is here too."
Ken Gao stammered, "..."
Could a stranger's ghost compare to his daughter?
The chubby head tilted, and Lila Qin smiled mischievously. "Uncle Gao, are you afraid of ghosts?"
Ken Gao stammered, "I... I..."
"But what can you do?" Lila Qin innocently shrugged. "In the future, Uncle Gao might have to run the business with Lila more often."
Ken Gao's breathing became heavier, and when he looked at Lila Qin again, it wasn't like he was looking at a little fairy, but a little demon.
After memorizing the appearance of the bracelet, Lila Qin closed her eyes and recited some words under her breath.
"...Return to the artifact!"
The chubby palm was empty once again.
Ken Gao couldn't help but ask, "Young Miss, did the spell fail?"
"No way!" Lila Qin said with a pout. She then glared at Fiona Yang, "You lied to me! The bracelet wasn't at your house."
Fiona Yang replied, "That can't be. My mother would never..."
Suddenly, she realized something and said with confusion, "Come to think of it, the club president once said that the bracelet represents our feelings. If we die or fall in love with someone else, our feelings will be taken back and kept in the club."
Lila Qin said, "Then take me there quickly!"
Half an hour later, they arrived at the entrance of the club.
It was a private clubhouse owned by the club president.
From a distance, Lila Qin could already sense the overwhelming resentment. Frost instantly covered her chubby face.
"Soul Control Curse, Blood Debt Transference, such a wicked formation!"
