chapter 12 Nicholas Ye

by Arthur 18:07,Nov 01,2023
"The six overseas Supreme Martial Arts experts were all challenged and severely injured by Nicholas Ye alone, who emerged unscathed! After this battle, Nicholas Ye's combat prowess astonished the Huaxia Martial Arts community. He was honored as the foremost figure in the Huaxia Martial Arts community and earned the nickname 'War God'!"
"Not only that, but five years ago, a former Supreme expert who dominated the Huaxia Martial Arts community thirty years ago and was known as 'invincible in his lifetime,' went to Jing City to challenge Nicholas Ye. In this battle, the veteran Supreme was defeated in one move, solidifying Nicholas Ye's position as the number one in the Martial Arts community!"
Layla Han listened intently, utterly fascinated and shocked. Colin Murong was already legendary enough, but Nicholas Ye was even more astonishing. She regretted not being born ten years earlier to witness Nicholas Ye's invincible prowess.
"Nicholas Ye is unrivaled in Huaxia. His children are also exceptionally talented, perhaps even surpassing him. You accompanied the Old Master of Ye to Jing City, so you should know, Eric Ye, he is Nicholas Ye's son!"
Layla Han recalled the handsome young boy she had seen in Jing City years ago, whose mere gesture commanded attention. She had seen many outstanding talents over the years, but none were like Eric Ye, who seemed to devour the world with his aura.
She dreamed of marrying Eric Ye one day, sharing in his glory and adoration.
"Eric Ye, only seventeen, has already entered the realm of Martial Arts Grandmaster. He is the future successor of the Ye Family and is on par with Zoey Hoa of the Jing City Hua Family, the most formidable talents in the current Huaxia Martial Arts world. Among the younger generation, they stand at the pinnacle, known as the 'Twin Stars of Jing City'!"
"Rumor has it that Nicholas Ye has another son, who for some reason, seems to have been disowned and expelled from the family, stripped of his Martial Meridians. His name is not mentioned within the Ye Family. However, it's said that this other son had even more astonishing talent, but sadly, he never achieved greatness."
Oliver Han spoke with a hint of regret, then his tone changed, and his eyes sparkled with intensity.
"I thought the youngest Supreme Martial Arts would emerge from these two, but unexpectedly, in Lu City, I encountered such a monstrous existence. In terms of strength alone, neither of them compares to that young man we just saw!"
"Colin Murong, who became a Supreme at thirty-five, dominated battlefields and established countless feats of valor. The Murong family rose to prominence because of him, commanding respect from all around!"
"Nicholas Ye, sweeping through the Huaxia Martial Arts community, reached the pinnacle alone. With him, the Ye Family stands unshakeable, subtly leading in Jing City!"
"And that young man we just saw, appearing to be under twenty, has already reached the same level as them in the Supreme Martial Arts, his potential terrifyingly immeasurable. If he were to aid my Han Family, imagine where we could go in the future?"
Layla Han was stunned, finally understanding why Oliver Han valued Jonathan Ye so highly.
Such a young Supreme Martial Artist would cause a sensation not just in Huaxia but worldwide. This extraordinary talent, if allied with her Han Family, would be a century's fortune.
Recalling Jonathan Ye's unparalleled handsome features, Layla Han couldn't help feeling a surge of affection. Beauties have always adored heroes, and she was no exception in her admiration for the strong.
Oliver Han stood with his hands behind his back, his gaze long and profound.
With the emergence of such a young Supreme Martial Artist, he sensed that the future of the Huaxia Martial Arts community would surely be stirred by Jonathan Ye.
Jonathan Ye stayed the night at the villa arranged by Zachary Wu and, the next morning, with his backpack, headed to Lucheng No. 3 Middle School.
Lucheng No. 3 Middle School, one of the key high schools in Lu City, annually sends students to Qing University and Jing University. It's an evergreen in the education field, top-ranking in teaching methods and faculty strength in the province.
Standing at the school gates, Jonathan Ye watched the students in uniforms, feeling a sense of unreality.
For years, constantly on the edge of danger and death, he had almost forgotten that he was just an eighteen-year-old youth.
"Be a student?"
He smiled faintly and headed towards the classroom building with his backpack.
Not far behind Jonathan Ye, two beautiful girls walked side by side. One was tall and stunning, like a royal goddess, while the other, slightly shorter, had a delicate and cute face, both top-tier beauties.
They attracted the gaze of numerous boys around, while girls looked on with envy and jealousy, wishing they could be as beautiful.
The smaller girl looked ahead and suddenly spotted a familiar figure.
She quickly tapped the taller girl, surprised.
"Aurora, look, isn't that Jonathan Ye?"
Aurora looked in the direction indicated, her beautiful eyes narrowing slightly.
"It is Jonathan Ye!"
She had been distressed the previous night, wanting to thank Jonathan Ye but not knowing his contact details or where he had gone, thinking she might never see him again.
Yet, here he was, at their school.
"Where is he?"
In just a blink, Jonathan Ye's figure had disappeared. Aurora Xiao was startled and hurried forward, but still couldn't find him.
In class 3-4, a new face arrived, attracting the attention of all the boys and girls.
"Wow, this guy is so handsome! Why haven't we seen him before?"
"Which class is this guy from? He looks even more handsome than our school's heartthrobs. Why is he in our class?"
The girls were starstruck, while the boys felt threatened. Having one campus heartthrob was already hard enough; now, an even more handsome guy had arrived, diminishing their presence.
Jonathan Ye walked into the classroom calmly, ignoring these glances, and took a seat in the last row.
"Bro, you're not from our class, right? Are you looking for someone?"
The boy blocking Jonathan Ye didn't seem hostile, just curious. He was fairly good-looking, though his dark circles suggested frequent late nights.
"Oh, I'm here for class, a new student in this class, I guess!"
Jonathan Ye replied casually.
"A new student?" The boy was skeptical. "Our teacher never mentioned it!"
Jonathan Ye smiled, walked past him, and sat in an empty seat at the back.
"Bro, you're really a new student in our class?"
The boy found Jonathan Ye interesting and approached him; his seat was right next to Jonathan Ye's.
"Really!"
Jonathan Ye found it amusing and nodded.
"Then our class has got a guy even more handsome than Brandon Ou!"
The boy smiled at the thought.
"Brandon Ou?" Jonathan Ye was curious.
"You just got to school, so it's normal not to know some people here."
"Brandon Ou is a god-level figure in our school, excelling in every field. No one beats him in looks, family background, grades, sports, or talent. He always tops the math Olympiad, steals the show at every New Year's party, ranks first in grade exams, and is the main force in the Sanda club, representing our school in many provincial and national competitions!"
"More than eighty percent of the girls in the school are smitten with him. The most annoying part is that he doesn't care about anyone and only has eyes for our top school belle, Nora Gu, always hovering around her as a self-proclaimed 'guardian of the flower', and no one can do anything about it!"
