Chapter 32

Looking inside the rooms one by one, I settled on a space that had a comfortable looking single bed and a desk. Though everything appeared to be dusty, it was enough for one night. Van chose a room opposite mine on the hallway. Before going in she gave a reminder. "If you need anything just holler to me." Winking mischievously, she closed her door. I did the same and plopped down on the cushy bed. With all the day's activities, it didn't take long before I fell asleep.
