chapter 13 Finished

In the lobby of Grace Residence.
Delfina was leisurely enjoying lobster, chatting and laughing with Hibiscus while Nagnoloa remained silent with a cold expression.
Just as the two were happily conversing, a figure approached.
"Hibiscus, you look beautiful today."
The voice was clear, belonging to the Evans' young master, Fanix.
He came over, choosing to ignore Nagnoloa and Delfina beside Hibiscus, seeming to have eyes only for the girl in front of him, his gaze tender.
Hibiscus stood up, suppressing her discomfort, and smiled. "Mr. Fanix, you flatter me."
"Hibiscus, I know a beautiful spot, I'll take you there," Fanix continued, his gaze becoming even softer.
Hibiscus declined, "No need, I'm not very fond of sightseeing."
"How about we go eat something good? There are some nice desserts at another table," Fanix persisted.
"No, I don't feel like eating..." Hibiscus still refused.
Fanix's face darkened a bit. As a top young master, few dared to refuse him. He had endured for so long mainly because of Hibiscus's beauty, but patience had its limits.
"Hibiscus, there's a limit to playing hard to get."
"Always cold, even if you're beautiful, I can't keep chasing after you forever!"
After saying this coldly, Fanix reached out to grab Hibiscus's arm.
Hibiscus was startled and quickly stepped back. Nagnoloa stepped forward, blocking Fanix. "Mr. Fanix, what are you trying to do?"
Fanix looked at Nagnoloa coldly. "Move!"
Nagnoloa gritted her teeth, forcing a smile. "Mr. Fanix, Hibiscus has finished eating and doesn't want to eat anymore. She really can't eat."
Nagnoloa naturally knew who Mr. Fanix was.
Hibiscus was her best friend, and she couldn't stand by and watch her being bullied.
"Nagnoloa, does Harper Corporation still want to survive in Ham City?" Fanix threatened.
Nagnoloa trembled, feeling threatened!
But the Evans did have the power to easily destroy Harper Corporation. Nagnoloa's hand trembled slightly, biting her lip. "I... Mr. Fanix, Hibiscus isn't feeling well today. Otherwise, next time..."
"Get lost!"
"Don't you understand human speech?"
Fanix became increasingly impatient, pushing Nagnoloa forcefully.
Nagnoloa, wearing high heels, was pushed back and almost fell backward, exclaiming in alarm.
Suddenly, a pair of hands reached out and wrapped around her waist.
"The one who should leave is you."
It was Delfina!
Nagnoloa felt a surge of security but also worried that Delfina might cause trouble.
Delfina had already stood in front of the two girls, facing Fanix directly. In his calm eyes, there was a hint of coldness. "Hibiscus rejected you. She doesn't want to see the scenery or eat anything, so please leave her alone."
Fanix's face turned cold.
He smirked sinisterly. "Kid, are you going against me?"
Fanix stepped forward, attempting to push Delfina, but Delfina seemed rooted to the spot, unmoved.
Delfina's gaze was indifferent. "Am I going against you? Sorry, you're not even worth it."
"Fine, fine, fine!"
Fanix was furious, "Arrogant brat! I let you go before all because of Hibiscus's face. Now you don't know your place and provoke me, you'll regret it!"
"Oh, how will I regret it? Tell me."
Delfina stood firm, unwavering.
Fanix's face darkened, resembling an impending storm.
The dispute in this small corner had already attracted everyone's attention.
After all, Delfina's appearance had drawn notice, and now with the Evans' young master personally involved, the tension between the two was palpable.
"This kid is strong, daring to confront Mr. Fanix!"
"Today is the Evans' territory. Causing trouble like this is disrespecting them, isn't it?"
"Just look at how serious Mr. Fanix's expression is..."
People naturally had a penchant for spectacles, and these upper-class individuals, who were either wealthy or influential, were no exception. They craned their necks to watch.
On the other side, the young men and women wore amused smiles, namely Frenetos and his group with Merlin.
"Mr. Frenetos, you've done well. With Mr. Fanix here, we're in for a good show."
Merlin chuckled happily.
She sneered at Delfina's audacity, "I didn't expect Delfina to be so rough, daring to confront Mr. Fanix like this."
Frenetos took a sip of wine and chuckled, "Why don't we guess Delfina's outcome?"
Bernard speculated, "Getting kicked out of Grace Residence?"
Merlin maliciously guessed, "Mr. Fanix isn't someone to mess with. I bet Delfina will get his legs broken and tossed into Gold River!"
The group gasped.
That was going too far.
But Fanix was indeed no pushover.
Meanwhile, the standoff in the corner continued.
"Oh, how will I regret it? Tell me," Delfina asked again.
A flash of killing intent crossed Fanix's eyes. Just as he was about to say something, his arm was suddenly grabbed.
It was Hibiscus rushing out, grabbing his arm. "Mr. Fanix, please don't argue with Brother Delfina. He's just bad-tempered. He's my brother, please don't blame him!"
"Let's go eat instead? Whatever Mr. Fanix wants, I'll accompany you!"
Fanix's expression softened slightly as he looked at Hibiscus, tightly wrapped in her enticing figure under her dress. "Since Hibiscus is pleading with me like this, I'm not unreasonable."
He looked at Delfina and sneered, "Kid, you're the most arrogant person I've ever seen in my life, repeatedly provoking me. Although I won't let you die, you'll have to suffer a bit."
"Manager Doyle!" Fanix suddenly shouted.
Delfina frowned.
Soon, a tall middle-aged man hurried over, nodding respectfully. It was Doyle, the lobby manager of Grace Residence. "Mr. Fanix, what's the matter?"
Fanix pointed at Delfina, saying calmly, "I suspect this person has no invitation. He sneaked into Grace Residence with malicious intent. Now, arrest him! Drag him out! Break his legs!"
Nagnoloa and Hibiscus's faces immediately changed.
This didn't even require "suspicion." The fact was that Delfina had sneaked in!
Nagnoloa secretly resented Delfina. "See, I said something would happen!"
Upon hearing Fanix's words, Manager Doyle maintained his polite demeanor. After all, he was the manager of a big hotel. "I'm sorry, sir, could you please show your invitation?"
Nagnoloa looked at him, her eyes full of anxiety.
Hibiscus also stomped her foot anxiously, pulling Fanix. "Mr. Fanix, let's forget about this. Let's go eat."
But Fanix shook his head. "Today is my sister's birthday. Of course, I have to ensure the hotel's safety. Otherwise, it wouldn't be good if something happened."
Manager Doyle's voice became more serious. "Sir, please show your invitation."
Delfina remained calm. "I don't have an invitation."
This statement caused an uproar in the audience.
Nagnoloa turned pale, her mind filled with only two words: "It's over."
