chapter 14 Imperial Palace ===

Miasma could target him for all he cared. However, he couldn't accept it when his family was targeted.
Moreover, the Lopez family was just relatively richer and had some influence in the locale.
To Dunstan, the Lopez family was not worth mentioning.
Even without mobilizing the Hades Palace, Dunstan could take on the entire Lopez family.
Dunstan didn't mind the things Miasma did in the past, but now that his family was involved, he would let Miasma know that he wasn't someone to be messed with.
After all, one should always pay for their wrongdoings.
Bianca was naturally unaware of Dunstan's thoughts. However, she breathed a sigh of relief when she heard that Dunstan wouldn't look for Miasma for trouble. "It's good you know your limits. We don't need to be calculative with like people like Miasma."
She was glad to have him back and didn't want to risk losing again.
She had waited for him for ten years. Of course, she was unwilling to go through the heartache once more.
Dunstan suppressed the anger in his heart and patted Bianca on the head. "I'm just saying, why are you so anxious?" he said with a smile.
Bianca stared into Dunstan's eyes and felt that he wasn't pretending. She then patted her chest and said, "You scared me to death. I thought you were really going to settle your score with Miasma."
"You don't know how happy Uncle Rick and Aunt Fiona are after you come back. If something happens again, how do you expect me to explain to them?"
Dunstan smiled and said, "I'm not a child anymore. I won't act as recklessly."
"Good." Bianca grabbed Dunstan's hand and said solemnly, "You'd better not be lying. I return to the company and get everything ready. You can report directly to the company for work tomorrow."
Bianca had everything planned out.
Even if Dunstan was promoted to a suitable position, she would do everything she could to pave the way for Dunstan.
Besides, she heard that the company was restructuring. With her performance, it was possible for her to take on a leadership role.
By then, it would be easy to get Dunstan a promotion and raise his salary.
Dunstan didn't want to let Bianca's good intentions go to waste. He smiled and said, "Okay, I follow your plan and work at your company starting tomorrow."
As the two chatted, they had unknowingly arrived at Bianca's residence.
During their chat, Dunstan learned that Bianca had moved into the company's hostel as her home was too far away.
Bianca continued their conversation even after arriving at her hostel's lobby. "Meet me here tomorrow morning, and I will bring you to the company. It's your first day at work. I'm sure you're unfamiliar with the way there."
"After getting off work, we can also go home together. It'll be just like our school days."
"After you officially join our company, we will be colleagues. I can hang out with you on weekends when we are free. Chom City is now a metropolis. I will be your guide and take you exploring in the future."
Bianca couldn't help dancing with joy when she was on this topic. It was as if she was planning her future.
She looked adorable.
Dunstan looked at her with a smile and said, "Okay, I'm getting excited. You'd better go back now. I will be here on time tomorrow. Don't make me wait too long, alright?"
Bianca looked at the smile on Dunstan's face, and her heart raced a little faster.
"What are you staring at?" Dunstan asked and couldn't help but flick Bianca's forehead.
This time, Bianca didn't think of him as inconsiderate, but she turned slightly red. She nodded and said, "Okay, I'll go up now, and you'd better head back too. Don't wander around. Chom City has changed a lot and I'm afraid you'll get lost."
"By the way, you haven't saved my number yet. Give me your phone and I'll save it for you. You can call me if you need anything."
Dunstan had no choice but to pass her his phone.
After exchanging contact information, Bianca turned and walked up the stairs.
As soon as Bianca entered the elevator and the doors closed, the smile on Dunstan's face gradually faded.
His expression was voided of emotions. It was as if he the sheepish boy was gone.
Dunstan hailed a taxi by the roadside and asked the driver, "Do you know where the Grand Palace is?"
The driver replied, "The Grand Palace? Who wouldn't know where it is?"
"But that place is very expensive. If you don't have two thousand dollars, then you won't be able to afford to go there. You don't look rich, so take my advice. Otherwise, you might be cheated.”
The driver was genuinely offering his advice.
After all, the clothes Dunstan wore looked cheap. He didn't look like someone who could afford to spend in the Grand Palace. He was afraid Dunstan only wanted to visit because he heard it was interesting. If he didn't give Dunstan a warning, wouldn't he be pushing Dunstan into a tourism trap?
Of course, Dunstan understood the driver's good intentions, but he didn't take it to heart. After all, he intended to cause some trouble at the establishment.
He originally wanted to find out what happened to the Grand Palace ten years after the "incident". He never expected it to flourish.
The Grand Palace belonged to the Lopez family. There are many beauties inside, and as long as you have the money, you can fool around and even stay overnight.
It was no wonder why the driver thought Dunstan was the type who couldn't "afford" to spend.
"You don't need to worry. The Grand Palace is owned by an "old acquaintance" of mine. I just wanted to catch up with him." Dunstan said with a sneer. He then got into the passenger's seat.
The driver glanced at Dunstan doubtfully. No matter how he looked, Dunstan didn't seem to be the type to know anyone in the Grand Palace.
Maybe he was just bragging, thought the driver.
However, the driver didn't think it would be a good idea to ask. So he stepped on the accelerator and sped towards his destination.
After nearly half an hour's drive, they arrived at the Grand Palace.
After getting out of the taxi, Dunstan took out a bill from his pocket and passed it to the driver before leaving.
When the driver saw the bill, he couldn't help but gasp.
"Wow, did he just return from abroad? This currency belongs to the Great Eagle!"
The driver regretted not flattering Dunstan. Perhaps Dunstan would have given him more tips if he did.
Now, the driver would even believe Dunstan's words if he claimed that his family owned the Grand Palace.
The driver finally understood what Dunstan meant when he said he had nothing to worry about when he hopped into his taxi.
Judging from Dunstan's attitude and the bill from the Great Eagle, Dunstan must be treated like a VIP wherever he goes.
Meanwhile, Dunstan gazed at the magnificent Grand Palace and sneered in his heart.
Miasma, he had better be here. Otherwise, there wouldn't be anyone to entertain him
