chapter 19 First day at work ===

Since it was Dunstan's first day at work, Fiona pulled him out of bed early for breakfast. After he ate, he left for work.
When Dunstan arrived at Bianca's hostel, Bianca was still asleep.
She took more than half an hour to get ready and meet him after he called her countless times.
As soon as Dunstan saw Bianca coming out, he couldn't help but complain, "You said you would leave in a few minutes, but look at the time now."
It was impossible to trust a woman. How could a few minutes be equivalent to half an hour?
Bianca was embarrassed. "I could've been faster, but I couldn't find the color I needed when I was doing my makeup. That's why I was late."
Dunstan scrutinized Bianca's face, making her blush.

"You're wearing lipstick?" Dunstan asked after a long while.

Dunstan thought Bianca looked cute when she was pouting.
Wasn't she in her late twenties? Why was she still pouting like a child?
Perhaps Dunstan was unaware of Bianca's feelings for him. After all, a woman would always act like a child in front of the man she liked, no matter her age.
"Okay, okay. I'm in the wrong. I am the one who doesn't know how to appreciate it. Come on, let's go. Otherwise, I'll be late for work." Dunstan changed the subject, not intending to dwell on the issue any longer.
"I'll leave a bad impression if I'm late for work on my first day."
Bianca blinked and said, "Even if you are late, no one will dare to say anything. After all, I'm the one who got you in."
Dunstan glanced at her and snarled. "You are abusing your power. Even if I went in through the back door, I must behave professionally. Otherwise, everyone will be gossiping behind my back, saying that I depend on a woman for a living."
The two chatted happily and after a ten-minute walk, they finally arrived at the company.
Bianca pointed to the skyscraper on the other side of the road and said, "Well, that's where you will work from now on."
After taking a look, Dunstan Flores said, "Your company seems quite rich."
"Of course. Our company is on the front line of the industry. Many fresh graduates from prestigious universities are dying to join us, but they can't get in regardless of their connections."
Dunstan smiled slightly and said, "Then I have to thank you for getting me into your company."
Although he was just working as a security guard.
Bianca looked at Dunstan and said firmly, "Don't worry, the opportunity arises, I will definitely promote you to Captain. When you get there, your workload will be lighter. Just bear with a lower rank for a few months.”
Dunstan smiled and said, "It's fine. You have done enough. I am already satisfied to be working in the same company as you. As for the Captain's role, it doesn't really matter to me."

Noticing that they were about to be late, Dunstan quickly took Bianca's hand and crossed the road as soon as the green man lighted up.
Bianca did not struggle and allowed Dunstan to pull her along.
After arriving at the entrance of the company, Dunstan let go of Bianca's hand and said, "You'd better get to work, I will report to the security office."
After the two separated, Dunstan took a brief glance around the "Hayes Pharmaceutical Group".
As expected of a large company, the area was huge.
Dunstan walked around for a long time before he found the security office.
When he explained that Bianca introduced him to the job, the security captain couldn't help but steal a few more glances at him.
He secretly sighed in his heart. It must be great to be blessed with good looks. No wonder he could get in with the help of a woman. In the past, the Captain bribed the company with lots of money to get the role. Now that someone got in because of his good looks, the Captain couldn't help but feel indignant.
At that thought, the Captain was aware of Dunstan's connection to Bianca. Naturally, he would treat him differently. He started planning how he could curry Dunstan's favor so that he could rely on Bianca for support in the future.
"You're Dunstan, right? From today onwards, I'll be like your brother. I have been working here for almost ten years. If there is anything you don't understand, just come to me. You can call me Kentaro," said the Captain as he patted Dunstan's shoulder affectionately.

Dunstan smiled bitterly in her heart, but seeing that the Captain was almost as old as his father, Dunstan decided not to dwell too much on the issue.

"I think it's better to call you Captain Kentaro," Dunstan said.
After all, it was disrespectful to address his senior on a first-name basis.

What did you understand? Dunstan complained silently in his heart.
He obviously thought Dunstan was a kept man. At this point, Dunstan thought the situation was both infuriating and funny at the same time.
He was absent from the battlefield for a long time, but there were never rumors that he depended on women for a living.
Now that he was misunderstood by the Captain, he didn't know where to start explaining. After all, the more he tried to explain, the more ambiguous it would seem.
"Ms. Bianca is a very attractive woman. Many in the company have tried to pursue her, but she has always remained single."

Dunstan felt a little embarrassed as the Captain caught him dozing off at work.
He expected Kentaro to give him a scolding, but Kentaro told him nicely that it was time to knock off instead.
"Dunstan, Ms. Bianca is waiting outside for you."
Had he been sleeping that long?
Dunstan scratched his head in embarrassment. If it weren't for his connection to Bianca, he would have been sacked long ago.
