With his eyes fixed on Vivian, Cirrus frowned and remained silent.Vivian knew that he was reluctant to accept her proposal. To be exact, he was more than willing to rip her into pieces for hurting Florence, his beloved woman. And it was possible for him to watch the stars with Vivian willingly. But he did not know that a pathetically weak woman like Vivian could not injure anyone at all. She was so skinny that the wind could easily blow her away. If Florence had not deliberately provoked her into making a scene, Vivian couldn’t have touched her clothes at all.Speaking of clothes, Vivian cast a glance at Florence's dress which used to belong to her.It was a white and pink dress made of crepe which was embroidered with mauve flowers. The dress was indeed lovely.Cirrus adored floral patterns. In Vivian's old wardrobe, eight out of ten dresses were in such patterns. It was he who had bought them for her.Florence's dress was tidy without any crease and the patterns on it hadn’t changed a bit, just like its current owner, fresh and outstanding. As for its original owner Vivian, she looked so withered and pitiful with her watery eyes, as if the pain had penetrated her fragile bones.Vivian smiled lightly. "Miss White, may I ask what you do for a living?"Hearing that, Florence suddenly trembled with terror and buried her face in Cirrus' arms at once, saying in a coquettish voice, "Cirrus…""Don't worry. I got you. I won't let her hurt you." Cirrus's voice was more than gentle as he encircled Florence’s waist and stroked her hair. But when he looked at Vivian, the tenderness in his eyes disappeared in an instant. "Why do you want to know about it?"Vivian replied with a chuckle, "I'm just curious.""It's none of your business. Vivian, I advise you not to lay your hands on Florence.""Cirrus Williams, I advise you not to talk to me this way ’cause I don't know what I might do when I go crazy!""You…"Vivian almost laughed out loud when seeing that Cirrus was so furious but dared not retort for the sake of Florence.Everyone had an Achilles heel.Vivian's Achilles heel was her son, while Cirrus's was Florence. Vivian said to herself, As I’m already a villain in your heart, why not just go all the way and become an even more wicked villain? Then she strode past them, opened the door, and entered the villa. Before shutting the door, she said to Cirrus, "I'll wait for you on the roof at seven tonight."Vivian then reached her bedroom on the second floor, which had a large French window. When Vivian looked outside, she found that Cirrus and Florence had already left.He might have taken Florence to the hospital. How fast he has gone! He must be very worried about Florence. After all, a man like him would protect his beloved ones in every way.Vivian, the one-time apple of his eye, had been gradually perceived as filth by him for that Florence managed to replace her.It didn’t matter any more. What was done could not be undone, and she was unable to change anything. All she hoped for was to get pregnant and save her son.Vivian took out her phone, fixed it on a stand, and pressed the video record button. In front of the camera, she smiled a gentle smile, "My boy, this is mommy. I don't know if you'll see this video. But when you see this video, I might be unable to stay by your side any more. However, don't be sad. I'll be in another world where there are flowers, grass, mountains, and rivers. It will beautiful and also… quiet."She smiled, with motherly tenderness in her eyes."I might not be able to watch you grow up, but you have to believe that mommy loves you deeply. I've been thinking about which name suits you best for quite a long time. And today, I finally came up with the best one–Aelius, meaning the sun because I hope that you will always be full of joy and energy, just like the sun.""Aelius, if you miss me, just look up at the stars. Mommy will always be there to watch over you every night…"Choked with tears, she immediately covered her mouth and stopped recording, for she didn’t want Aelius to see her crying like this. Having saved the video on a USB drive, Vivian walked downstairs and mailed it out.

With his eyes fixed on Vivian, Cirrus frowned and remained silent.

Vivian knew that he was reluctant to accept her proposal.

If Florence had not deliberately provoked her into making a scene, Vivian couldn’t have touched her clothes at all.

Speaking of clothes, Vivian cast a glance at Florence's dress which used to belong to her.

It was a white and pink dress made of crepe which was embroidered with mauve flowers. The dress was indeed lovely.

Cirrus adored floral patterns. In Vivian's old wardrobe, eight out of ten dresses were in such patterns. It was he who had bought them for her.

Florence's dress was tidy without any crease and the patterns on it hadn’t changed a bit, just like its current owner, fresh and outstanding.

As for its original owner Vivian, she looked so withered and pitiful with her watery eyes, as if the pain had penetrated her fragile bones.

Vivian smiled lightly. "Miss White, may I ask what you do for a living?"

Hearing that, Florence suddenly trembled with terror and buried her face in Cirrus' arms at once, saying in a coquettish voice, "Cirrus…"

"Don't worry. I got you. I won't let her hurt you." Cirrus's voice was more than gentle as he encircled Florence’s waist and stroked her hair.

But when he looked at Vivian, the tenderness in his eyes disappeared in an instant.

"It's none of your business. Vivian, I advise you not to lay your hands on Florence."

"Cirrus Williams, I advise you not to talk to me this way ’cause I don't know what I might do when I go crazy!"

"You…"

Vivian almost laughed out loud when seeing that Cirrus was so furious but dared not retort for the sake of Florence.

Everyone had an Achilles heel.

Vivian's Achilles heel was her son, while Cirrus's was Florence.

Vivian said to herself, As I’m already a villain in your heart, why not just go all the way and become an even more wicked villain?

Then she strode past them, opened the door, and entered the villa. Before shutting the door, she said to Cirrus, "I'll wait for you on the roof at seven tonight."

Vivian then reached her bedroom on the second floor, which had a large French window.

When Vivian looked outside, she found that Cirrus and Florence had already left.

He might have taken Florence to the hospital.

How fast he has gone! He must be very worried about Florence.

After all, a man like him would protect his beloved ones in every way.

Vivian, the one-time apple of his eye, had been gradually perceived as filth by him for that Florence managed to replace her.

It didn’t matter any more. What was done could not be undone, and she was unable to change anything. All she hoped for was to get pregnant and save her son.

Vivian took out her phone, fixed it on a stand, and pressed the video record button.

In front of the camera, she smiled a gentle smile, "My boy, this is mommy. I don't know if you'll see this video. But when you see this video, I might be unable to stay by your side any more.
