chapter 10 Respect like a god!

by Palmyra 17:36,Nov 28,2023
In the early morning, a Rolls Royce drove into Hidden Dragon Villa and stopped in front of Abraham's villa.
Elias got out of the car, straightened his clothes, and walked towards the villa.
After a few steps, Elias looked puzzled, but then continued to walk on. However, shortly after, his face turned into shock. The villa was clearly in front of him, but he couldn't seem to reach it, as if he was stuck in place.
Elias dared not move anymore, this was definitely the work of an Immortal.
Seeing Elias standing still and continuously wiping sweat off his brow, the driver thought Elias might be sick and hurriedly got out of the car and ran towards Elias.
"Don't come over."
Elias shouted when he saw the driver running towards him. However, before he could finish his sentence, he froze. The driver who was running towards him suddenly disappeared.
"Chairman Cox, Chairman Cox,"
The driver, Lukas, experienced the same thing. Elias, who was clearly in front of him, suddenly disappeared. Was he seeing a ghost? Lukas's forehead broke into a cold sweat.
Abraham, who was still in his practice, suddenly opened his eyes. His brows furrowed slightly but quickly relaxed.
Elias didn't dare to move. This was the first time in his life that he had encountered something like this, making him afraid to even breathe heavily.
At this moment, a figure appeared in front of him.
Elias's face lit up, and he quickly bowed, respectfully saying, "Sir."
"Follow me."
Abraham turned around, and Elias hurriedly followed.
After a few steps, the view in front of him suddenly cleared. The villa, his car, and Lukas, who was panting heavily next to the car, were all there.
Elias's expression became even more respectful. This was definitely the work of the Sir.
"Do you need something?" Abraham asked.
Elias quickly lowered his head and said, "Sir, we have some leads on the license plate number you asked me to investigate."
Abraham's breath hitched. Only matters regarding his parents could cause such an emotional fluctuation.
"I have found the person."
Before Elias could finish his sentence, Abraham interrupted him, "Take me to him."
Elias hurriedly went to open the car door, allowing Abraham to get in first.
The driver, Lukas, watched Elias running around in confusion.
"Find your own way back, and keep what you saw today to yourself, understand?"
Lukas quickly nodded. He knew a little about Elias's background. Coupled with the strange events he had just experienced and Elias's attitude towards Abraham, even if he was foolish, he could guess something.
Elias personally drove for Abraham.
An hour later, the car stopped in front of a bar called Back Lake.
A burly man had been waiting at the door. Seeing Elias get out of the car, the burly man greeted him with a smile, "Big brother."
However, Elias ignored him and walked a few steps to the back to open the car door. Abraham stepped out of the car.
The burly man was stunned. His name was Lincoln Sunderland, and he and Elias were like brothers. They had built the reputation of the Dragon Hawk Society together, occupying half of the underworld in Riverway City.
Later, when Elias went legit, Lincoln took over the Dragon Hawk Society.
He had known Elias for more than twenty years and had never seen him act like this. He was both puzzled and angry. Looking at Abraham, who looked just like a college student, he wondered what virtues and abilities Abraham had that made his big brother respect him so much.
"Big brother, who is this kid?"
"Shut up!" Elias was startled by Lincoln's disrespectful tone and quickly scolded him. Then he bowed his head to Abraham and said, "Please forgive him, sir, he didn't mean to offend."
"It's alright," Abraham said indifferently. Such a small matter was not worth his anger.
"Aren't you going to apologize to the sir?" Elias shouted at Lincoln, while also making faces at him.
"Big brother, what did I say that you want me to apologize for?" Lincoln grumbled. He was, after all, a gang leader. How could he apologize to a young man for no reason?
"So you're saying you don't recognize me as your big brother anymore because you think you're big now?" Elias's face darkened.
Lincoln bulged his eyes, looking at Elias in disbelief, "Big brother, what's wrong with you?"
Elias sneaked a glance at Abraham, feeling uneasy. But since Abraham didn't say anything, he couldn't explain it outright. He could only make faces at Lincoln, fearing that Lincoln would say something even more outrageous.
Abraham had no interest in getting entangled in such trivial matters, and his eyebrows furrowed slightly.
Elias noticed Abraham's expression and his heart throbbed. If Lincoln annoyed Abraham, that would be bad. He turned to look at Lincoln and asked, "Where's the person you were supposed to find?"
"I've sent someone to catch him. He should be here soon," Lincoln said gloomily.
Elias almost jumped up to slap Lincoln. He had been repeatedly emphasizing on the phone that the action must be fast, but the person still hadn't been caught.
Just then, a white Jinbei van drove up quickly and stopped in front of them.
The car door opened, and a blood-covered man fell out.
"Major!"
Lincoln was taken aback and quickly ran over.
"Lincoln, quick, save Troy!"
"What happened?" Lincoln yelled with red eyes.
"We..." Major had a horrifying knife wound on his chest that was so deep it revealed the bone. It was a miracle that he was able to hold on and come back after losing so much blood on the way. He managed to say one word before passing out.
"Get out of the way."
Abraham walked over and squatted down in front of Major.
"What are you doing?" Lincoln yelled.
Elias grabbed Lincoln and whispered, "Don't worry, I believe the sir has a way."
"What the hell can he do, is he a doctor? Can he save Major?" Lincoln roared, his eyes red. He pointed at Abraham and yelled, "Don't touch my brother, or I'll kill you."
Abraham placed his palm on Major's chest wound, and a surge of true essence energy passed into it. Major's chest wound began to heal at a speed visible to the naked eye.
By the time Abraham lifted his hand, Lincoln was stunned as if struck by lightning. His eyes bulged like a frog's, and his face was full of disbelief. The deep wound on Major's chest had disappeared.
Elias had always revered Abraham as a deity, but this scene still surprised him so much he almost bit his tongue.
"Big brother, he..."
It took Lincoln a while to find his tongue, but he couldn't form a complete sentence.
Elias took a deep breath, barely suppressing the urge to kneel, and tried to lower his trembling voice as he whispered, "You should understand why I did what I did earlier. The sir is an immortal."
Lincoln stole a glance at the expressionless Abraham, his heart in turmoil. He had only seen such supernatural powers in mythological dramas.
At this point, he couldn't care less about his self-esteem. Besides, could his status as a gang leader compare with that of an immortal? He ran over in a panic and knelt in front of Abraham, "Spare me, Immortal. I was blind earlier. Please show mercy and don't hold it against me."
"Sir, Lincoln didn't mean to offend you. Please forgive him this once," Elias quickly stepped forward to plead for Lincoln, who was his brother after all.
"Get up, both of you. Ask him what happened."
Following Abraham's words, Major slowly opened his eyes, looking confused. When he saw Lincoln kneeling on the ground, he quickly scrambled up, "Mr. Troy, what's..."
Before he could finish his sentence, he was stunned. He touched his chest in disbelief, then looked surprised and exclaimed incoherently, "My wound... Am I dreaming? My wound is healed..."
"Why are you still stunned? Your wound was healed by the sir. Aren't you going to thank him?"
Elias called Abraham 'sir', and Lincoln did the same at this moment. They didn't give Major any time to react, and directly pushed him to kneel on the ground.
Major was a bit confused at first, but when he heard that Abraham had healed his wound, he couldn't help but take a few more glances at Abraham. Moreover, he believed that Lincoln wouldn't lie to him, and quickly said, "Thank you, sir."
Abraham waved his hand, signaling the three of them to get up.
After the three of them stood up, Abraham asked, "What happened?"
Major couldn't help but look at Lincoln.
"Why are you looking at me? Just answer what the sir asked," Lincoln scolded.
Lincoln quickly explained what had happened.
As it turned out, Riverway City was famous for Riverway, and the Riverway served as the boundary. The south of the river was the territory of the Dragon Hawk Society, while the north was occupied by a gang called the Crimson Blood Alliance.
When they found the car, they discovered it had changed hands several times. The original owner was named Leland Wright, and Leland was at a bar called Dream Paradise.
Dream Paradise was in the territory of the Crimson Blood Alliance. They had originally planned to quietly take Leland away, assuming the Crimson Blood Alliance wouldn't turn against them over an ordinary person. But they didn't expect that Leland had a connection with a high-ranking member of the Crimson Blood Alliance.
As a result, when they tried to retrieve Leland, they were ambushed by members of the Crimson Blood Alliance. Major had risked his life to escape and deliver the message.
