chapter 15 Apologize!

by Palmyra 17:36,Nov 28,2023
All eyes shifted to Elias. This man was too wild. But did he know who he had just hit?
"Darn it, what the heck?"
As everyone worried for him, Elias gave another two kicks to Palmer's head.
Palmer protected his head, his eyes vacant, still not having recovered from his shock.
Ryleigh felt both vindicated and worried for Elias. Palmer's identity was not simple, and after beating him up like this, the Porter family wouldn't let this slide.
"Do you even know who I am?"
Palmer, surprisingly resilient, struggled to his feet. His swollen eyes glared venomously at Elias.
"Who are you? Say it and try to scare me." Elias' face was full of mockery.
"I am Palmer Porter, my father is Mathias."
Palmer, afraid his name wouldn't be enough to intimidate, also mentioned his father's name. After speaking, he venomously stared at Elias, waiting to see Elias' regretful expression.
As he wished, Elias' face showed fear. However, all of this was an act.
To be honest, Elias' heart did thump a bit. He knew of Mathias, and the Porter family's influence was stronger than his.
However, these did not scare him. If he couldn't beat them fair and square, he still had the Dragon Hawk Society.
Moreover, even if the Porter family was a dragon, in front of Abraham, he didn't believe they could make any waves.
"Who do you think this man is?"
"Probably a fan of Ryleigh's, don't know how he got in."
"If he really is a fan, then he's doomed. How could he offend Mr. Palmer and get away with it?"
The staff whispered among themselves.
Palmer, leaning on the table, pointed at Elias with a gritted teeth, "You bastard, dare to hit me, it's too late to regret now. I'm going to chop off your hands and feet, so you can only live in a wheelchair in your next life."
After speaking, Palmer took out his phone and made a call.
Ryleigh also heard the staff's words, and saw the scared expression on Elias' face. She didn't know it was an act, and thought Elias was really her fan.
However, before she could speak, a flurry of footsteps sounded, and several burly men in black rushed in.
They were Palmer's bodyguards, who had been waiting in the car outside.
Seeing Palmer's miserable state, the bodyguards were all taken aback.
"Waste, what are you dawdling for? Kill him!" Palmer pointed at Elias and yelled.
The bodyguards hesitated for a moment before circling towards Elias.
"Bang!" Elias turned around and once again kicked Palmer to the ground. He then pointed at the bodyguards and shouted, "Try moving, and I guarantee you won't see tomorrow's sun."
This stunned the bodyguards, and for a moment they hesitated.
Elias walked over and gave Palmer a beating. "You little brat, I think you're tired of living. Even your dad, Mathias, wouldn't dare point fingers at me. What do you think you are?"
Palmer was beaten to the point of screaming, completely dumbfounded.
Palmer's bodyguards looked at each other. No matter who this man was, their young master was beaten like this. If they just watched, they wouldn't be able to explain when they returned. Several people rushed towards Elias at the same time.
They had just moved when a figure suddenly appeared in front of them.
This person just raised his hand, and the bodyguards simultaneously spat out blood and flew out.
Abraham had been standing at the door the whole time, unnoticed.
Seeing the bodyguards lying on the ground, spitting out blood, the surrounding staff, as if bitten by a snake, hurriedly distanced themselves from him.
Elias heard the commotion and turned to look. Seeing the bodyguards on the ground, he quickly ran over and respectfully said, "Thank you, sir, for your help."
"I should thank you," Abraham said.
Hearing this, Elias laughed so hard that his mouth almost split to his ears.
Abraham walked towards Ryleigh.
Ryleigh watched Abraham approach, her eyes full of confusion.
"Long time no see," Abraham said with a light smile.
Ryleigh quietly watched Abraham, her expression full of confusion. The young man in front of her gave her a familiar feeling.
Seeing Ryleigh's confused expression, Abraham couldn't help but laugh, then reached out and touched Ryleigh's head.
Ryleigh suddenly widened her eyes and exclaimed in surprise, "You're brother Abraham."
"You're not too stupid," Abraham said with a smile.
"You're really brother Abraham?" Ryleigh joyfully hugged Abraham's arm, her beautiful eyes tightly fixed on Abraham's face.
"It's me." Abraham was somewhat sentimental. If not for that incident years ago, he wouldn't have lost his parents and friends.
"That's great, that's great, brother Abraham, you're finally back, where have you been these years?" Ryleigh lifted her radiant face, she was so happy, her brother Abraham was back.
Actually, she had always secretly liked Abraham. Three years ago, when Abraham disappeared, she secretly grieved for a long time.
After the joy, Ryleigh began to worry for Abraham. Now it seemed that Elias was Abraham's subordinate, and now that Elias had beaten Palmer half to death, Palmer would definitely seek revenge.
Ryleigh knew Abraham because they used to be neighbors, living in the same community. Abraham's parents, like her parents, were all white-collar workers.
Could families like theirs withstand the revenge of the Porter family?
"Brother Abraham, what should we do now?" Ryleigh asked worriedly.
Abraham was stunned for a moment before he realized Ryleigh was talking about Palmer. He casually said, "Apologize."
As soon as these words came out, the people around showed their contempt. Just now they thought Abraham was some big shot, but it turned out he was a poser. In the end, he still had to apologize.
"Brother Abraham, with Palmer's status, I'm afraid he won't accept our apology." Ryleigh's face was full of worry. Even if the Porter family accepted, the weight of the apology might not be something they could afford.
"Huh?" Abraham was stunned again, then couldn't help but laugh. He touched Ryleigh's head, "You misunderstood. I meant let the Porter family apologize to you."
"Ah?" Ryleigh thought she had heard wrong. Let the Porter family apologize to her, how was that possible?
The people around also sneered. They thought Abraham was out of his mind.
"Ms. Temple, this is my business card."
Elias wiped his hand on his expensive suit and hurriedly took out a gold-embossed business card and handed it over.
Ryleigh accepted the card with a puzzled face, wondering in her heart. Wasn't this man Abraham's follower? Why did he have a business card?
When she saw the words "Elias", she couldn't help but widen her eyes.
In their entertainment circle, there was a saying, in Riverway City, it was not terrible to offend anyone, only two people couldn't be offended, one was Elias, the other was Santiago.
Because what stars feared most were the underworld.
Ryleigh's assistant, Violet, took a curious look, unconsciously gasped, quickly covered her mouth, and looked at Elias in shock. She didn't expect that the man standing in front of them was the boss who controlled half of the underworld in Riverway City.
"Chairman Cox, hello." Ryleigh instinctively moved closer to Abraham. Facing an underworld boss, how could she not be afraid?
Ryleigh's action made Elias sweat. He was trying to please her, but now it seemed to have backfired. He quickly said, "Ms. Temple, you can just call me by my name Elias."
Ryleigh was not stupid, she was just too shocked just now. Looking at Elias' reaction, he was clearly trying to please her. The reason must be because of her brother Abraham.
"You handle this matter," Abraham said to Elias.
"Yes, sir, don't worry. I guarantee to give Ms. Temple a satisfactory explanation from the Porter family." Elias quickly patted his chest to assure.
Ryleigh's beautiful eyes turned, and she sneakily glanced at Abraham. She felt very proud in her heart. Her brother Abraham was so powerful that with one word, a big boss of Riverway City was busy running errands for him.
Elias's way of handling things was simple and rough. He walked over and kicked Palmer, who was pretending to be dead, causing him to roll a couple of times. He scolded, "Call your dad Mathias and have him pick you up personally. Remember, if he can't get here in half an hour, you won't be able to keep your legs."
Palmer had wanted to do this for a long time. He glared at Abraham resentfully. He now knew that Abraham was the mastermind. He then took out his phone and dialed a number.
