Chpater 1 Go Get Married

In a bamboo cottage sat an old Taoist priest. The cottage was on the top of a mountain where there were bamboo forests and ponds of crystal clear water. Silence of harmony abounded in the cottage, but it was soon broken by an intruder.

A young man barged into the cottage and said to the priest:”You need to tell me something, old guy?”

“Luke, pack your luggage now, you’ll leave here tomorrow.”

“Huh? I’ve been doing the laundry and cooking for you for so long time, can you really look after yourself once I’m gone?” Sneered Luke,”Wait, did you really find a young and pretty girl to replace me?”

He was met with a hit on his head and the priest’s anger:”Cut that out! It’s something important to you!”

“Then just tell me what it is!” Uttered Luke, hands rubbing his head.

“I arranged you an appointment of marriage when you were still a kid, now it’s the time.” Smiled the priest.

“Nah! I don’t even know who I’m going to marry, okay?”

“Then I’ll cancel it if that’s what you wish, but at least take a look at your fiancee.” Said the priest as he handed Luke a picture of a gorgeous lady who’s in perfect shape.

“Holy...I’ll pack up my stuffs right now! I’ve grown tired of seeing this ugly face yours all these years already, adios!” Said Luke as he immediately left the cottage.

The priest swung the sleeves of robe from which came a ray of silver light heading to Luke, then the priest put his smile back on as he heard of scream of pain from Luke. The priest himself is a genius practitioner in both medicine and martial art, and Luke is an orphan he adopted. Thinking that Luke could be working there, the man asked as he showed Luke the way:”Do you work there?”

“Of course not!” Smiled Luke,”My wife works there.”

His wife? Luke’s words made the man quite jealous. But still he managed to keep the smile on and asked again as he handed Luke a cigarette:”If you don’t mind me asking, which department is she in? I probably know her.”

Luke is not a smoker, but he took the cigarette out of courtesy. Then he said to the man with pride on his face:”It’s not that she works in a department, she’s the president of that place, Jennifer Su.”

“Fuck you!” Shouted the man as he snatched the cigarette from Luke’s hand and spitted on the ground, feeling ashamed that he tried to cotton up to Luke.

“She is my wife! It’s an appointment made when...”

“Take a look a yourself! She’s the president of a A-tier company, and you? You dress like a beggar! Stop that disgusting daydreaming of yours, please!”

In no way would the man believe Luke. Jennifer is famous around the whole Guanghua City. She’s one of the youngest president, moreover, she’s stunningly gorgeous.
