Seeing Klein still feigning confusion, the coldness in Jedrek's eyes intensified.
He lightly tapped his hand on the table, "You don't seem to grasp your situation. Finding you confirms your guilt. What more can you get away with now?"
Despite Jedrek's sneer, Klein's heart trembled, but he managed to compose himself and stuttered, "I...I don't understand..."
Boom!
The solid wood table in front of him suddenly shattered. Klein's eyes twitched. He stood up abruptly, stepping back in horror. Looking at Jedrek, he asked, "What do you want? Who are you?"
Jedrek gazed coldly at Klein, "You're alive because I want to know who's behind you. Klein, you're clever. Decide if you want to live or die."
Swallowing hard, Klein's forehead glistened with sweat. The pressure from the man in front of him was immense. The eyes behind the eerie mask made him feel indifferent to life!
"I-It's not possible. Just an illegitimate child. How was it found..."
Klein muttered to himself, scared. Even without Jedrek taking action, the murderous aura emanating from him made Klein shiver.
He wanted to expose the mastermind, but his fear held him back. Revealing the truth meant death for him and his family.
Standing there, he struggled with conflicting emotions.
After a minute of silence, Jedrek rose slowly, asking, "Is this your decision?"
As Jedrek spoke, the pressure on Klein became unbearable.
"Ah!"
Klein yelled and dashed towards the door, driven by the urge to flee.
But before he could escape, he was forcefully pinned against the wall.
"Let me go! It's not me. Help!" Klein screamed.
Jedrek held Klein against the wall, his voice calm, "Ending you is as easy as squashing an ant."
Klein, terrified by Jedrek's indifference to life, pleaded, "Who are you? Release me. Killing me won't help you escape. Let me go, and I'll give you money! I have money!"
Jedrek's face twisted in disgust, "Money? Can money buy my daughter's health? Money! Hahahahaha, you asked me for money! It seems you hurt my daughter just for money, right?"
As he spoke, Jedrek tightened his grip, deforming Klein's skull slightly as he squeezed!
"Ahhhh! No, let me go, let me go, ah!" Klein's eyes bulged in severe pain, screaming in horror.
His pants were wet from fear, revealing his fright.
With a flick of his hand, Jedrek dropped Klein to the ground, staring down at him impatiently.
Klein recoiled in fear, leaving a mark on the ground. He babbled, "Don't kill me, I was wrong, don't kill me!"
Jedrek's voice turned cold, "Who ordered you to do this?"
"It's the Porter Family, Junayd Porter! He paid me, don't kill me, he also gave me the cancer pathogen, please don't kill me..."
Klein was terrified, pleading for mercy.
"Junayd!" Jedrek muttered, his eyes chilling.
He kicked Klein in the chest casually.
Puff!
Spitting out blood, Klein realized he was surprisingly unharmed.
Ignoring Klein, Jedrek left the room.
Klein found out that he didn't have any chest pain and nothing was wrong.
Unaware of his internal injuries, Klein's condition would worsen without immediate surgery.
On the other side, Jedrek remembered the name Junayd of the Porter Family. He couldn't recall it, so it must be the person Awenasa angered after leaving five years ago.
Regardless of who uses such deceitful tactics against his daughter, Jedrek swears not to let them escape.
Descending the stairs, Jedrek advanced step by step, when a rumbling noise emerged. Soldiers in combat attire marched in unison towards him, swiftly turned around, and faced Jedrek.
Witnessing this scene, all the doctors and patients in the four hospitals were stunned, and clueless about the situation.
Some individuals grabbed their phones, capturing photos and short videos.
Observing the spectacle before him, Jedrek involuntarily halted.
Ahead of them, a thousand Divine Martial Guardsmen formed a disciplined phalanx, dominating the field with grandeur and authority.
Gazing at the long knives on their right shoulders, Jedrek reminisced about charging alongside them.
In the next instant, Duvall stepped forward and declared loudly, "Divine Martial Guardsman, welcome the Red Dragon!"
The multitude saluted in unison, roaring thunderously, "Welcome the Red Dragon!"
For a moment, it felt like the entire world fell silent, with the Fourth Courtyard area incredibly quiet.
Whether on the street or within the fourth courtyard, everyone gazed in shock and disbelief at the unfolding scene.
Suddenly, someone murmured, "The Red Dragon is a king!"
A foreign doctor exclaimed, "Oh my goodness, I've seen the king! The king of the Land of the Red Dragon!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A group of individuals suddenly emerged from the hospital. Some were bandaged, some limped, some used crutches, and others carried their medical supplies.
At that moment, all eyes were on the figure standing before a crowd of a thousand, tears glistening.
They all saluted!
"Welcome, my king!" a voice called out.
In unison, the group echoed, "Welcome, my king!"
The ruler, known as the King of the Land of the Red Dragon, was the revered God of War safeguarding the realm.
Only a select few in the Land of the Red Dragon dared to claim the title of king.
As the Red Dragon, bearing the divine name of king, he stood out amongst his peers as an unbeatable force respected by all.
The name of the Red Dragon was not only familiar within the Land of the Red Dragon but also beyond its borders.
However, while many knew of the Red Dragon's dragon mask, few were aware of Jedrek's true identity.
Numerous onlookers were moved to tears, while others regarded Jedrek with utmost admiration.
Former soldiers wounded in battle and retired veterans were overcome with excitement, gazing at the figure intently.
