Although very angry, Skulker hailed a taxi to Liora's house.
By the time Skulker arrived, Vorax had already finished treating Liora's father.
"This illness is not easy to cure!" Vorax wiped the sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief and delivered the diagnosis.
"Your father's illness is caused by external pathogens. Cold wind has entered the lungs, and there is also heat toxin in the body. This leads to the external pathogen disturbing the lungs, causing lung qi not to descend properly, resulting in coughing!"

Seeing this, Vorax waved his hand directly to refuse. "I made the house call as a favor to Ravager, so if you want to pay, give it to him!"
Because Vorax knew Ravager had retired, life outside the military required money for everything.

But the fact was, it wasn't Skulker who had requested Vorax's medical help, but that young man, Ravager, whom she had never even spared a glance.

Seraphia wasn't foolish. A young man who had such a relationship with Vorax couldn't possibly be just an ordinary person.
So, she didn't want to acknowledge her previous words.
Ultimately, it was to avoid offending Ravager. If they offended Ravager, Vorax wouldn't come to treat the illness in half a month.
Did they have to rely on Skulker to ask again?
After some thought, Seraphia wanted to tactfully refuse Skulker.
Unfortunately, before she could speak, Liora beat her to it. "Skulker, aren't you embarrassed?"
"Did you invite Dr. Parker? You still have the nerve to take credit!"

Liora sneered, "I've seen shameless people, but never someone as shameless as you!"
Skulker acted stubbornly, and while Liora could scold him, this time, Ravager couldn't stand it anymore.

But this Skulker, actually stole the credit and shamelessly asked Seraphia to fulfill her previous promise.

Ravager clasped his hands behind his head and leaned back in his seat. "After all, I'm your employee, and keeping the boss happy is part of the job!"
Liora glared at him. "Smooth talker. If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have hired you!"
Ravager shrugged nonchalantly. "You can still fire me now if you want!"
"You'd love it if I did!"
"If I don't want you, there are plenty of people who do!"
Liora's words sounded a bit sarcastic.
But there was nothing she could do; for some reason, this guy always had admirers.
Luckily, they were all men...
To avoid further embarrassment, Ravager swiftly changed the subject. "Boss, I'm hungry. Let's find somewhere to eat!"
