The two of them got into the car, and Liora started the Maserati.
"Where do you want to eat? Pick a place!"
With someone treating her father's illness, Liora felt very happy.
And the hero of the day was none other than Ravager.
"I just got back to Kingsbury, so I'm not sure where's good to eat!"
Liora thought for a moment. "Centurio Restaurant, Blaze Draco Restaurant, Fusion Jude Restaurant... There are plenty of great places to eat in Kingsbury!"
Ravager could tell from the names that they were all well-known restaurants.
"How about we find a roadside stall and have some barbecue?" Ravager suggested.
"Huh?"
Liora was taken aback. "I was thinking of treating you to a meal at a five-star restaurant!"
Ravager shook his head. "No need. It's just the two of us, and we wouldn't eat much anyway. Plus, fancy restaurants have too many rules and make you feel uncomfortable!"
"Alright, I'll go with your suggestion. I know a place!"
Liora stepped on the gas, and the Maserati's tail lights blinked as it disappeared into the traffic.
They parked the car, and Liora and Ravager got out.
"Let's go there. The food is delicious, and they're always packed every night!"
Following Liora's gesture, Ravager saw a shop with tables and benches outside, already occupied by quite a few people.
Flame Krill!
Seeing the name on the signboard, Ravager nodded. "Let's go there!"
As they walked over, a middle-aged woman holding a menu approached them.
"What would you like to order?"
"One portion of braised crayfish, one portion of garlic crayfish, and a set of skewers!" Liora quickly placed their order.
After ordering, she glanced at Ravager. "Is there anything else you'd like to eat?"
Ravager, who had been silent until now, said, "Add two lamb kidneys!"
Instantly, Liora looked at Ravager with a strange look in her eyes.
When the middle-aged woman left, Liora couldn't help but feel curious. "Are you anemic?"
Ravager flashed a mysterious smile. "Is eating lamb kidneys a sign of anemia?"
Liora whispered, "Don't men say eating that is good for them?"
Ravager couldn't help but tease her. "Oh~ it seems like the boss knows a lot!"
Blushing, Liora realized she might lose out on this conversation and decided not to discuss it further.
The middle-aged woman took back the menu. "It's a bit crowded, so you might have to wait a while!"
As they waited for their food, four people suddenly arrived at the empty table next to them.
A tattooed middle-aged man and three young people with long, multicolored hair.
Red, green, and yellow, they looked like a traffic light when they were together.
"Gloomer is treating us today. You guys can order whatever you want!"
Self-proclaimed Gloomer tossed a small LV bag and two boxes of cigarettes onto the table.
"Miss, one portion of braised crayfish, one portion of garlic crayfish, a set of skewers, four lamb fries, four lamb kidneys, and a crate of beer, please hurry, we're starving!"
After the young man with yellow hair shouted, he picked up a cigarette from the table and put it in his mouth.
Suddenly, the attention of the nearby tables focused on them.
"Gloomer, I heard you just got a new Mercedes recently. You're loaded!"
After ordering, the three young men began to flatter Gloomer, trying their best to curry favor.
"Let's talk about something else! Gloomer is about to buy a house in Kingsbury. At $150,000 per square meter, can he not have money?"
The young man with red hair flattered while handing a cigarette to Gloomer.
"Gloomer not only changes cars quickly but also changes women quickly. That's charm!"
The young man with green hair immediately lit a cigarette for Gloomer.
Gloomer enjoyed the flattery from the three. "You guys are still young, there are plenty of opportunities. Make more money in the future, whether it's cars, houses, or women, if you want to change, just change!"
"But changing cars quickly is fine, changing women quickly, this body can't handle it!"
"Haha, Gloomer, your health is important. When the lamb kidneys and lamb fries come, eat more for your health!"
Listening to the boring conversation around him, Ravager shook his head in resignation. Nowadays, honest men who work hard can't find wives, while men who brag all the time never lack women. He wondered if it was because men had become better at flirting or women had become less intelligent.
"Your braised and garlic crayfish, skewers, and lamb kidneys!"
Just as Ravager sighed, the landlady stood with a tray in front of their table.
As the landlady was about to place the tray on their table, Gloomer suddenly turned his head. "Landlady, give us the two crayfish dishes and skewers first!"
"But... they arrived first!"
The landlady hesitated.
This table of four didn't look easy to deal with. In business, it's best to maintain harmony. Fear of offending these troublemakers could lead to trouble every day, making business difficult.
"But what?" Gloomer's expression turned fierce. "It's all the same anyway. We'll just have our two crayfish dishes and a pound of skewers brought to us later, problem solved, right?"
"Well... that's not very appropriate!"
The landlady was holding the tray, unsure what to do.
Gloomer glanced at Ravager and, seeing that he hadn't said a word, shouted, "Bro, be flexible. We're starving. You guys can share one serving!"
The tone of this question wasn't a negotiation; it was an order.
Ravager had no interest in paying attention to them. Ignoring them was the best strategy when dealing with trashy people like them.
But just because Ravager ignored them didn't mean Liora would too.
Liora was furious. She stood up, slammed the table, and yelled, "Hey, do you have no sense of fairness?"
"We arrived first, but now you want to eat first?"
"If we arrived after you, would you agree to let us eat first from your order?"
"And what, are you hungry while we're not?"
With Liora standing up, her excellent figure and demeanor were unmistakable. Combined with Gloomer's previous lack of attention, he now noticed that this girl's face was also exceptionally beautiful.
Taking all these factors into account, she was a true beauty.
Gloomer licked his chapped lips and smirked. "Hey, beauty, looks like you've got quite a temper, huh?"
"Do you want us guys to help you cool down together?"
"You! You jerk!"
As a woman, facing a man acting like a pervert was extremely frustrating.
Liora was so angry she stomped her foot, but there was nothing she could do about Gloomer.
"Ravager!"
Seeing Ravager still sitting there indifferent, she felt like biting him.
She thought, "Your boss is being harassed, and you can still sit there calmly?"
