"Homesickness and timidity perfectly described Alex Ye's current state of mind. Sitting on the plane bound for Hua Xia, he looked out the window at the tall buildings below, his emotions fluctuating. When Alex Ye left Hua Xia, he was just a seventeen-year-old boy; now, eight years had passed in the blink of an eye. An immature teenager had transformed into a mature and determined young man. There was a shallow scar on his chiselled face, adding an air of heroism to his already handsome features.
"Sir, would you like a drink?" a beautiful flight attendant approached Alex Ye and asked the middle-aged man seated beside him, who was dressed in a suit.
In the first-class cabin of this plane, almost everyone was considered a successful figure in society. The middle-aged man in the suit looked at Alex Ye's plain attire with obvious disdain. Indeed, Alex Ye was dressed very casually: a nearly faded grey short-sleeved t-shirt on top and camouflage pants below, with the pant legs tucked into a pair of dusty combat boots.
The middle-aged man gave Alex Ye a scornful glance and then nodded politely to the flight attendant, saying, "No, thank you!" Then he glanced at Alex Ye again and muttered, "How can someone like this be sitting in first class?"
Naturally, Alex Ye heard this, but he didn't pay any attention to it. He had encountered too many people who thought highly of themselves and believed they were the best. Many of them had met their end at his hands.
The flight attendant still smiled politely and asked Alex Ye again. After all, the customer should always be prioritized first. Even if Alex Ye were a beggar, once he boarded the plane, she should treat him with courtesy, equality, and politeness. Besides, this young man, while not extravagantly dressed, was quite handsome and had a slightly mischievous charm.
Alex Ye glanced at the flight attendant, shook his head, and said, "No, thanks!" Then he turned his gaze back to the window.
Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and the cabin echoed with gunshots. Four middle-aged men stood up, each holding an AK47, aiming at the passengers in the cabin. This sudden turn of events threw the passengers into chaos, each one looking at the four fully-armed bandits in terror.
"Don't move, take out your valuables. We're only after your money, we don't want to kill anyone. We hope you'll cooperate obediently," one of the bandits said.
Alex Ye slowly turned his head, took a look, and then turned away. The middle-aged man beside him was already trembling in fear.
The bandit who had just spoken nodded to one of the shorter bandits, indicating for him to go to the cockpit. Obviously, he was the leader among the four. He wasn't a fool; if the plane landed at a Hua Xia airport, what awaited them would be death. Hijacking a plane was considered an act of terrorism in Hua Xia, and the punishment was more than enough to warrant their deaths several times over.
After the shorter bandit turned and headed to the cockpit, the leader turned to the other two and said, "You two, go collect the money."
Faced with this situation, the so-called successful figures in the cabin were at a loss. When the bandits pointed their guns at their heads, they obediently handed over anything valuable they had. One of the bandits approached Alex Ye and barked, "Quick, give me your money!"
Alex Ye turned his head, looking innocent. "Big brother bandit, do I look like a rich man to you? If you want money, ask him. He's covered in designer brands hence he must be rich." Alex Ye gestured towards the middle-aged man next to him. He wasn't a gentleman seeking revenge for ten years, but now that he had the chance, he naturally wanted to give it back hard.
The middle-aged man shot Alex Ye a venomous look, but faced with the bandit's fierce gaze, he didn't dare utter a word more. He hurriedly took out all the money he had on him, along with his wristwatch and necklace, not daring to keep anything.
"Big brother bandit, he has a few gold teeth in his mouth," Alex Ye pointed to the middle-aged man and said.
The bandit's gaze shifted to the middle-aged man, and he wished he could skin Alex Ye alive. He secretly vowed that if he ever saw Alex Ye in the city of SH again, he would definitely give him a good beating.
"Hurry up and take them out, damn it. If you don't, I'll shoot you dead," the bandit threatened, pressing the gun against the middle-aged man's forehead.
"How... how do I take them out?" the middle-aged man asked innocently.
"You don't know how? Then let me help you!" The bandit said, and with that, he viciously struck the middle-aged man's mouth with the butt of his gun. Instantly, blood spurted from the man's mouth, and his gold teeth, along with several other teeth, fell out. The middle-aged man let out a scream akin to a pig being slaughtered.
"Damn it, shut your mouth. If you make another sound, I'll shoot you," the bandit snarled. The wicked have no mercy, and the middle-aged man didn't dare make another sound, enduring the pain while tightly shutting his mouth.
"You, take out everything you have on you, quickly!" The bandit aimed the gun at Alex Ye again, shouting.
Inside, the middle-aged man cursed silently, hoping the bandit would shoot Alex Ye dead. Alex Ye, looking very innocent, said, "Big brother bandit, I really don't have any money."
"Damn it, who do you think you're fooling? You dare to say you have no money when you're in first class? Quick, if you don't take it out now, I'll kill you." The bandit pushed the gun a little closer to Lang Shen's face and yelled.
Alex Ye shrugged helplessly, leaned back, and spread his hands, saying, "If you don't believe me, you can search me yourself."
The bandit hesitated for a moment, then glared at Alex Ye and said, "Kid, you better not try anything funny. My gun is here." With that, he bent down to search Alex Ye's body.
Alex Ye's eyes scanned around. The short bandit who went to the cockpit hadn't returned yet, and the leader was still standing at the door, vigilantly watching the passengers in the cabin. Another bandit was busy collecting money from other positions.
"What's this?" The bandit's hand suddenly found its way to Alex Ye's bare ankle, and he asked cautiously.
"You can't have this!" Alex Ye said.
"Quick, take it out!" The bandit pressed the gun against Alex Ye's chest and shouted.
Alex Ye's brows furrowed slightly as he reached into his combat boot and pulled out the hidden treasure. A flash of red light streaked across, leaving the bandit in shock, his mouth agape, unable to utter a word, his face filled with disbelief. This red light emanated from Alex Ye's personal dagger, named "Blood Wave." It was entirely blood-red, flowing like blood moving slowly.
Since he had already taken action, Alex Ye didn't hesitate any further. The dagger in his hand shot forth like an arrow released from a bowstring, piercing straight into the heart of the lead bandit standing at the door. The entire blade of the dagger completely disappeared into his body, leaving only the hilt visible. This demonstrated just how powerful Alex Ye's throw was.
