He shook his head. Alex Ye smiled faintly and said, "No, it belongs to my friend. I borrowed it for a few days. Where would you like to eat?"
Lily Lin wasn't the type of girl who was materialistic or vain, so when she heard that the car wasn't his, she didn't react much. In her opinion, the important factor was Alex Ye himself, not whether he had a car or was rich. "I know of a Western restaurant, the steaks there are very good," Lily Lin said.
The restaurant was called "Romantic," decorated entirely in the style of medieval Europe. It did have a romantic atmosphere when viewed from the outside. Although Alex Ye had eaten a fair share of Western food, but he still felt more comfortable eating Chinese food. This wasn't because he was a patriot, but because he felt too restrained when eating Western food. Where was the carefree comfort of eating at a local diner in Hua Xia? After getting out of the car, Alex Ye opened the car door for Lily Lin. Lily Lin, in a ladylike manner, linked her arm with Alex Ye and walked towards the restaurant. Outside the door, when the restaurant's waiter saw the two of them, he politely asked, "How many are in your party, sir?"
"Two!" Alex Ye replied somewhat impatiently.

After the two sat down, a waiter came over. When she saw Alex Ye's unconventional attire, she couldn't help but pause for a moment. Most of the men who came here to eat were in suits, but the man in front of her was dressed very casually. However, as a waitress, she quickly recovered, politely handing menus to both Alex Ye and Lily Lin, and asking, "What would this gentleman and lady like to order?"
Alex Ye glanced casually and closed the menu, saying, "What do you recommendations?"
Seeing Alex Ye's gesture, the waiter was even more certain that this young man in front of her was not a wealthy person. Alex Ye looked at Lily Lin and asked, "Lily, do you want anything else?"

Two steaks, medium rare; two portions of caviar, chilled, and remember, use silver spoons for the caviar. As for the red wine, let's go with the 1982 Laffite," Alex Ye said skilfully.
The waiter couldn't help but be stunned for a moment. She didn't expect this country bumpkin Alex Ye to know how to eat caviar. Could it be that she had misjudged him? It should be known that the essence of eating caviar lies in its freshness, and it's not suitable to mix it with any complicated or textured condiments. Despite her surprise, the waiter still politely said, "Please wait a moment," and turned to leave. "Alex Ye, there's no need to eat so extravagantly!" Lily Lin kindly said.
Alex Ye smiled faintly and said, "How can we be stingy since its our first meal together? Don't worry!"
Lily Lin didn't say anything more, but she secretly touched her bag. If Alex Ye didn't have enough money to pay the bill later, she still had her card.
