Carl Cook fumbled in his pocket for his phone then stood up and head for the bedroom.

"Where are you going?” Edith Hall asked.

Carl Cook paused and solemnly replied: "I'll go get my phone."

He didn't know he had lost his mobile phone. So he thought he must have left it in his bedroom.

Edith Hall felt it amusing and did not intend to tell him the truth but answered faintly: “Oh”.
